Person using virtual reality in an Oz road safety experience

Road safety that turns experience into evidence.

We help toll road operators with educational campaigns, with the VIAS Program, which pairs a virtual reality simulator with risk perception measurement, and with content that explains infrastructure to road users.

Present in road operations across different regions of Brazil.

Behavior is still road safety's blind spot.

Engineering and enforcement take care of infrastructure. Communication must make risk tangible before it becomes an incident.

Oz combines narrative, technology and experience to create relevant educational actions for drivers, motorcyclists, pedestrians and professional audiences.

Reach shows how many people arrived. Evidence helps reveal what changed.

Oz road safety campaigns across different media channels

Communication that makes risk impossible to ignore.

We create campaigns and audiovisual content for specific risks, audiences and contexts, connecting message clarity to a memorable experience.

VIAS Program: the simulator shows the risk, the survey shows the change.

The market counts how many people went through the action. VIAS measures what changed in participants' risk perception, right after and 15 days later. Oz produces the experience and measures the result.

  1. Immersive experience

A virtual reality simulator produced for the stretch, the audience and the risk: motorcycles, pedestrians, phone use while driving, drunk driving, drowsiness and fatigue.

  2. Measurement at D0

Right after the experience, participants answer a short survey across three dimensions: risk perception, self-efficacy and intention to change. They rate the now and, in retrospect, the before.

  3. Measurement at D15

Fifteen days later, the same survey arrives via WhatsApp. The difference between D0 and D15 is the Awareness Delta: how much of the impact remained.

What the operation receives

  • A report with Immediate Impact, Impact Retained at D15 and Retention Rate, by audience and by unit.
  • Evidence for the sustainability report, for HSE and Compliance, and for defending next year's budget.
  • A documented, traceable method grounded in established behavioral theories, with a design that avoids the bias of answering before and after.

International precedents

Behavioral measurement is already the standard in global road safety programs. VIAS brings that standard to Brazil.

  • Ford WheelSwap, Europe: 60% self-reported behavior change after two weeks.
  • Toyota TeenDrive365, USA: 20,000 participants across 9 markets.
  • National Highways, UK: virtual reality as education infrastructure since 2017.

Oz's operation in road safety.

Since 2009, Oz has created campaigns, films and immersive virtual reality experiences for Brazil's largest highway concessionaires. Watching the sector's urgency to change driver behavior up close is what led Oz to build VIAS, the measurement layer that was missing.

  1. In the sector since then

Campaigns, films and road safety actions for concessionaires.

  2. Simulators in the field

In operation today, in educational campaigns across Brazil.

  3. Concessionaires

    Served with tailor-made experiences.

  4. States

With Oz present in road safety actions.

Experiences created for real challenges.

Four projects for distinct audiences and risks, each developed around the operator's context.
